Over 600 cyclists hit the saddle on 15 May for the not-for-profit organisation Little Lumpy, raising £4,200 for Citizens Advice Waverley.
We provided 26 volunteers who baked 2,000 pieces of tray bake to help Little Lumpy meet their 4,000 target for the event. We also provided 21 volunteers who helped on the day with rider-registration, car park duties and volunteering at the many feeding stations on route.
Little Lumpy organiser, Ken Griffiths, said “Praise indeed for all the Citizens Advice volunteers. They can feel proud of contributing to such a fantastic day. We could not have wished for more from them, they were all fantastic!”
We are very grateful to Little Lumpy for choosing us as their partner charity this year. Huge thanks to Ken Griffiths from the Little Lumpy, Sally Cowper, Stella Mills, Lindsey Barlow and all the volunteers and bakers who gave their time and support to this event.
