Haslemere bureau ran a Bridge Tea at Grayswood Village Hall on Friday 9th November raising £800! Thanks go to Angela Wainwright for organising the event and Beila Best, Jane Phillips, Diana Vartan, Daphne, Pat and Caroline (all Haslemere volunteers) for providing a delicious tea.

Alison Dudley and John O’Mahoney from Farnham bureau and a friend of a CAB volunteer, Edmund Melvyn, all took part in The Farnham Pilgrim marathon raising a collective £557.13! Alison ran the course in an amazing 2 hours, 6 minutes! Well done and thank you to all for taking part and raising much needed funds. Tremendous work!
Cyndy Lancaster, Mayor of Haslemere organised a successful curry lunch which was held at The Georgian Hotel in Haslemere on Sunday 9 September. The luncheon raised £900 for which we are most grateful and we would like to thank the Mayor of Haslemere for making us her chosen charity.

Following a talk by Tricia Boynton, Godalming CAB Adviser, The President of the Inner Wheel Club, Mrs Clare Sandy nominated us as their charity and presented a cheque for £1,250 following a charity Bridge Day. We are most grateful to Sally Braid and the ladies of the Inner Wheel for organising the Bridge lunch.
Our Spanish wine tasting evening raised a magnificent £2,150. Nearly 100 guests experienced wine tasting from Master of Wine expert Angela Muir who is also a Godalming Helpline Operator.
